We are all set up for the Lenten pilgrimage – 2024! Start with Neander on the Path on Ash Wednesday, continue to the next post each day until Easter. Come join us on the journey, and Follow the Path!
Cross Labyrinth Journey Notes are notes about notes for notes. They are short devotions (notes) about hymns (which contain notes!) selected to accompany the devotions (the original notes) in the book A Labyrinth Pilgrimage, A Pilgrim Journey to the Foot of the Cross, by C. A. Radke. While the pilgrimage can be taken at any time, the outline for the journey is especially well suited to the Easter cycle of the church calendar. Introductory materials should be completed in the days leading to Ash Wednesday. Then, by starting with Day 1 on Ash Wednesday and following the daily devotions throughout the season of Lent, the journey arrives at the center of The Cross Labyrinth and the foot of the cross on Easter Sunday. There are themes for each week and titles for each day.
This page includes a table to help connect all of the devotions and hymns together. We hope that it will be a useful resource for pilgrims who choose to Follow the Path!
