{"id":388,"date":"2019-03-28T05:00:27","date_gmt":"2019-03-28T10:00:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/crosslabyrinth.com\/JourneyNotes\/?p=388"},"modified":"2020-04-02T10:09:07","modified_gmt":"2020-04-02T15:09:07","slug":"holy-ground-on-gods-path","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/crosslabyrinth.com\/JourneyNotes\/?p=388","title":{"rendered":"Holy Ground on God&#8217;s Path"},"content":{"rendered":"\t<audio id=\"wp_mep_1\" src=\"http:\/\/crosslabyrinth.com\/m4a\/Journey%20Notes%2023%20Holy%20Ground%20on%20Gods%20Path%20Accomp.m4a\"     controls=\"controls\" preload=\"none\"  >\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t<\/audio>\r\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\njQuery(document).ready(function($) {\r\n\t$('#wp_mep_1').mediaelementplayer({\r\n\t\tm:1\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t,features: ['playpause','current','progress','duration','volume','tracks','fullscreen']\r\n\t\t,audioWidth:,audioHeight:\r\n\t});\r\n});\r\n<\/script>\r\n\n<p>The stories of Moses are wonderful.\u00a0 His encounter with God at the burning bush is especially compelling.\u00a0 At the beginning of the encounter, God told Moses to take off his shoes because he was standing on holy ground.<\/p>\n<p>Moses had walked many places.\u00a0 He grew up in the Pharaoh&#8217;s palaces.\u00a0 No doubt he had entered Egyptian temples.\u00a0 He killed a man in fields where the Hebrews worked.\u00a0 He ran away to Midian.\u00a0 He tended sheep in pastures.\u00a0 On Mount Horeb, though, Moses went to see a burning bush and God called it holy ground.<\/p>\n<p>Until he stepped on holy ground, Moses went where he chose.\u00a0 After he stepped on holy ground, Moses went where God commanded.\u00a0 Before Moses had chosen his own way.\u00a0 Afterward, Moses followed God&#8217;s way.<\/p>\n<p>Adelaide Pollard had a passion to serve God.\u00a0 She wanted to be a missionary in foreign lands.\u00a0 She never went because she lacked financial support.\u00a0 At a prayer service, though, she heard another woman say, &#8220;It really doesn&#8217;t matter what you do with us, Lord, just have your own way with our lives.&#8221;\u00a0 Those words taught Pollard to accept God&#8217;s way for her life, and they inspired her to write the words to\u00a0<em>Have Thine Own Way, Lord<\/em>.\u00a0 Make the words of this verse your prayer today.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Have Thine own way, Lord!
